He has worked with research institutes, accelerators, tech conferences and dozens of companies to grow their global network, attract investment and open new markets. He has spoken extensively in public on matters including global expansion, growing innovation ecosystems, Artificial Intelligence, semiconductors, and managing tech talent.

Moreover, he has a particular focus on business with China, having worked and lived in the country for 10 years and since then has spearheaded trade and investment relations for London businesses by e.g. leading the first London senior tech delegation and events in China for London & Partners and founding the Tech London Advocates China Working Group which works to create awareness of opportunities in both tech clusters and provides a platform for entrepreneurs and the wider tech ecosystems to connect.

Since his arrival in Barcelona two years ago he has led efforts for Barcelona & Partners to grow trade and investment flows for the city, connecting its research institutes and deeptech startups with potential partnership opportunities.

He was until recently Director of Investment Promotion at Barcelona & Partners, a non-profit agency which aims to attract innovative companies to the city and before that AI and Life Sciences Lead at London & Partners, London’s economic development agency where he supported over one hundred science & technology companies to successfully expand to London and led the city’s promotion of its AI sector.
