On 28 April, Transphere Consulting accompanied a delegation from Széchenyi István University in Hungary on a visit to Fourier Intelligence, an AI robotics company, to explore collaboration opportunities in humanoid robotics, intelligent rehabilitation, artificial intelligence and advanced manufacturing.

The delegation included Szilard Bolla, former Consul General of Hungary in Shanghai; Professor Balint Filep, President of Széchenyi István University; Professor Zsolt Kovacs, Chief Operating Officer; Professor Peter Knausz, Chief Information Officer; Professor Istvan Drotar, Director of the Digital Development Centre; and Professor Laszlo Vasa, Director of the Doctoral School.

During the visit, the delegation explored Fourier Intelligence’s GR series humanoid robots, MetaMotus Galileo biomechanics analysis and training system, and RehabHub intelligent rehabilitation solution, gaining first-hand insights into the company’s capabilities in robot design, motion control, human-machine interaction and digital rehabilitation.

The visit laid a foundation for future collaboration in joint research, talent development and application validation.

Transphere Consulting and the China UK Business Development Centre（CUKBDC）have jointly launched the China Going Global Alliance（CGGA）, a strategic platform designed to support Chinese companies expanding into international markets, with the UK positioned as a key gateway to Europe and wider global opportunities.

CGGA is designed as an execution-oriented platform, providing support across international expansion strategy, government and stakeholder engagement, local partnership development, capital connectivity and market expansion.

The alliance will focus on advanced technology and AI, energy transition and sustainable infrastructure, and healthcare and life sciences, with networks across London, Hong Kong, mainland China, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

As the 2026 SAIL Award (Super AI Leader) of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) opens global applications, Transphere Consulting has once again been appointed as the official partner, supporting the international outreach and nomination process for outstanding AI projects worldwide.

Recognised as the highest distinction of WAIC, the SAIL Award identifies artificial intelligence innovations that demonstrate technological breakthroughs, real-world deployment capability, and long-term industrial impact.

Transphere Consulting accompanied Roberto D’Elia, President of the Swiss Humanoid Robotics Association, on a visit to the China National Humanoid Robotics Innovation Centre, facilitating an industry exchange to gain first-hand insights into China’s rapidly evolving humanoid robotics ecosystem.

During the visit, participants explored the Centre’s humanoid robot training facilities, standardised development platforms and clearly defined industrialisation pathways. The exchange provided a practical perspective on how China is translating large-scale engineering capabilities into deployable robotic systems – connecting fundamental research, system integration and real-world applications.

The exchange also highlighted growing opportunities for collaboration between Europe and China in the emerging humanoid robotics sector. As the industry moves from prototype development towards scalable deployment, cross-border cooperation in technology validation, supply chains and application scenarios will become increasingly important.

Transphere Consulting was invited to attend the Embodied Intelligence Industry Forum and 2025 Investor Conference, jointly organised by Muhua Innovation and the School of Continuing Education, Tsinghua University.

The forum brought together representatives from industry, academia and investment communities to discuss the engineering, deployment and industrialisation of embodied intelligence technologies. The event was led by Dr Zhang Yu, Founding Partner of Muhua Innovation, who highlighted 2025 as a pivotal year for the mass production of humanoid robots.

At the 7th China International Import Expo in Shanghai, Cranial Technologies, the global leader in infant cranial orthotics, officially announced its entry into the China market. Transphere Consulting served as the company’s China market strategy advisor, providing end-to-end support across market research, regulatory pathway planning, government relations and local partnership development.

During CIIE, Transphere CEO Tracy Cheng coordinated Cranial Technologies’ participation in several official events and partnership discussions, facilitating the company’s introduction to the China market.

Transphere Consulting was invited to visit the HICOOL Industrial Parks, engaging in in-depth discussions on international innovation ecosystems, cross-border investment, and industrial collaboration.

Since its launch in 2020, HICOOL has attracted over 24,000 projects and 32,000 entrepreneurs worldwide, incubating unicorns and “specialised and innovative” enterprises, with the total financing exceeding RMB 45.7 billion. Its integrated six-pillar model, which covers competition, concierge services, business school acceleration, industrial parks, venture funds, and digital platforms, has established itself as a leading hub for global entrepreneurial resources.

The visit laid a strong foundation for strategic cooperation between Transphere Consulting and HICOOL, strengthening links across Chinese, European, and global innovation networks.

Transphere Consulting was invited to visit the APEL Laboratory at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and attended the technology forum themed “Turning Waste into Value · Industrial Upgrading · Bay Area Co-Creation.”, co-organised by the Division of Environment and Sustainability, the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, and the APEL Laboratory at HKUST. The forum focused on the application of multifunctional gels and coating materials in environmental remediation and water purification, highlighting the potential of scientific research in driving green development and industrial upgrading.

Miss Diane Wong Shuk-han, JP, Under Secretary for Environment and Ecology of the HKSAR Government, delivered remarks emphasising the role of policy and research collaboration in advancing sustainable development.

Transphere Consulting engaged with academic institutions and relevant government departments, laying the groundwork for potential collaboration in green technology, environmental management, and cross-border cooperation.

Transphere Consulting, in partnership with the Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Centre and the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, successfully hosted a seminar on “Global Pathways for Chinese Food & Catering Brands”.

The event featured insights from representatives of organisations including Hungarian Cherry Investment Group, M&M Group Kft, JIUYE Supply Chain, Chenrui Capital, China Certification & Inspection Group, Shanghai Pandiant FoodTech, and Shanghai Yanshen Import & Export. Discussions focused on food safety and certification, supply chain and cold chain logistics, investment and financing trends, as well as international market expansion and brand building.

The seminar provided actionable insights and a cross-sector platform for collaboration.

Transphere Consulting was invited to visit the National-Local Joint Innovation Centre for Humanoid Robotics in Zhangjiang District, Pudong, Shanghai, for exchanges on the future development and applications of humanoid robotics and embodied intelligence.

The Centre served as China’s first open-source co-creation platform for humanoid robotics and has launched the country’s first heterogeneous humanoid robotics training ground in Zhangjiang. The facility supports training for over one hundred robots covering more than ten scenarios in intelligent manufacturing, public services, and specialised applications, with shared data enhancing capabilities in industry, healthcare, and service sectors.
