Michael Charlton brings over two decades of expertise in international trade and investment promotion. He served as the former Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at the UK Department for International Trade, responsible for promoting the UK as a location for investment and attracting FDI.

He has also worked as China Director for UK Trade & Investment and CEO of Think London, gaining valuable experience in Beijing and London.

Michael currently runs a consulting firm, advises McKinsey & Company, and sits on the advisory panel for Oxford Science Enterprises. He is a UK Chartered Accountant with years of experience at KPMG.
