Tracy Cheng holds a Master’s degree in Law and has previously worked for foreign government investment promotion agencies such as the London Development Agency and Ireland Investment Development Agency, where she assisted many Chinese companies in successfully setting up businesses in London and Ireland and helped them expand their operations in Europe, including Alibaba, Tencent, Vanke, Greenland, Fosun, ByteDance, WuXi Biologics, and Shein.

Prior to that, she worked for a Chinese law firm and a small multinational consulting firm for four years, providing consulting services to US and German manufacturing and creative real estate companies, helping them establish business networks in China.

She has nearly 20 years of experience in helping Chinese companies invest overseas and foreign investment enter China, with extensive contacts with corporate clients, government agencies, and business organizations, particularly in the areas of technology, financial services, life sciences, and real estate.

As the China lead of the London Mayor’s International Business Programme, she has successfully led high-growth London technology companies on visits to China, helping London start-ups in securing Chinese venture capital.
